To KDE or not to KDE, that is the question

I’ve had Ubuntu for a few months now. I’ve had to deal with lots of issues, problems, software issues until I made it to get some decent Ubuntu installation. Now is time for change.

Now the question is: what OS now? lets look at the options:

  1. OSX86: Leopard on my Packard Bell again… it DID work, but I had some issues with the WLAN card so yeah, although the rest was smooth, it was not really worth it.
  2. Linux distribution: ok, there are a zillion distributions so lets narrow the search again:
    • GNOME: Ubuntu? I don’t really feel like it, and the other distributions are not very tempting.
    • KDE: ahhh here! here is were I am really getting interested. I’ve really liked KDE for some time now, but what should I choose?

So, any suggestions?
